Join me at the Tiburon Library on March 4th where I’ll talk about my new multimedia e-cookbook: Cooking Tips From Around the World, A Culinary Travel Adventure.

I’ll talk about my solo travels around the world filming cooking schools, play cooking videos from the e-cookbook and talk about the business of e-books.

A reception with wines from Windsor Vineyards and Uptick Winery will start at 7 PM.

Cook, Shoot it & Complete, a Regional Cooking Video Contest, sponsored by ends December 1st. Grand prize is Enclume’s most popular pot rack for three decades. John Boos Cutting Boards, Chef’s Design French Roaster, Dansk Peppermills, Xtreme cookware, Kyocera Knives, Minden Stove Top Grill, and Le Creuset French Oven are some of the regional prizes to be awarded.

Pasta in the rain

It’s been raining here in Marin County, CA and pasta has been on my mind.
Fulvia Sensani from Venice, Italy, has some of the best tips on making pasta. She uses her chemist background to formulate recipes i.e. no egg whites in pasta since they will make the pasta tough! is just one example of her unique teaching style. She is a treasure!
